The Road to COP 30:
How to arrive in Belem with the support of local professionals and grassroots organisations?

In 2025, Brazil will host its first COP and the chosen location could not be more symbolic: Amazonia, or, more precisely, Belém, in the state of Pará.

Belém is a culturally diverse and strategic city for both those living in the Amazon region and outside the region. However, hosting COP30 presents a few challenges for international organizations, especially those that are not aware of the complexities of the region.

Kayeb wants COP to be inclusive and diverse, helping local talents to find job opportunities as well as provide key support to international organisations. Therefore, we set up a special team, with professionals based in Europe and in Belem, that can help with:

- Accomodations in different parts of the Greater Belem, planning according to your budget limitations and your needs. We work together with a realible local partner and a network of local friends that are happy to support the organisations coming to Belem during COP30;

- Finding local professionals in key areas: PR/media, culture/creative, events, film, production, journalists;

- Mapping local and national landscape (cultural, political, social) and strategic stakeholders (local, regional, and national);

- Co-designing and curating activities before, during and after COP, considering local voices, helping them to have an international platform.
